Harmful Care Rampant in Nursing Homes According to Official
This link takes you to an article from McKnights regarding the substandard care people are getting in nursing homes. Unfortunately, this appears to be the case in North Carolina nursing homes as well, giving rise to lots of nursing home abuse/neglect/injury and wrongful death claims. Statements have been given to Congress about the recurring and apparently systematic abuse and neglect in nursing homes. "More needs to be done to stop 'egregious instances of poor care,' said ... the chief counsel to the Department of Health and Human Services' inspector general."There are no comments.
